Beef Nihari is a traditional Pakistani stew made by slow-cooking tender beef in a rich, flavorful gravy with spices like ginger, garlic, garam masala, and cumin. Ingredients

    11. 1 cup water

Instructions


1. _Make Nihari Masala:_

    1. Dry roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds, cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods, and cloves.

    2. Grind into a fine powder using a spice grinder.

    3. Mix in nutmeg powder and mace powder.

2. _Cook Beef:_

    1. Heat ghee or oil in a large pot over medium heat.

    2. Add onions; cook until browned.

    3. Add garlic, ginger; cook 1 minute.

    4. Add beef bones, beef pieces; cook until browned.

    5. Add salt, turmeric, chili powder, garam masala; mix well.

    6. Add flour; cook 1-2 minutes.

    7. Gradually add beef broth, water; bring to boil.

    8. Reduce heat; simmer 1 1/2 hours or until beef tender.
