puri parhata

Here's a simple recipe for Puri Paratha:

*Ingredients:*

1. Whole wheat flour: 2 cups

2. All-purpose flour: 1 cup

3. Salt: 1/2 teaspoon

4. Ghee or oil: 1/4 cup

5. Lukewarm water: as needed

*Instructions:*

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, and salt.

2. Add ghee or oil to the flour mixture and mix well.

3. Gradually add lukewarm water to the flour mixture and knead to form a smooth dough.

4. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

5. Divide the dough into 6-8 equal portions.

6. Roll out each portion into a thin circle.

7. Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat.

8. Place a rolled-out puri on the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, until it's golden brown and puffed up.

9. Repeat with the remaining dough portions.

10. Serve hot Puri Paratha with your favorite curry or halwa.

*Tips:*

- Use a combination of whole wheat flour and all-purpose flour for a soft and flaky texture.

- Adjust the amount of water according to the humidity in your area.

- Don't overwork the dough, as it can make the puris dense and hard.

- Cook the puris over medium heat, as high heat can burn them.
